Those signs telling how and when to merge have not been used the last two days. It's becoming a free-for-all again. Every one in Steamboat already has a 'me first' attitude. Didn't anyone pay attention in kindergarten on the the day sharing was introduced?

Drivers need to use both lanes when available and merge at the merge points the contractors have set up. Doing so improves the flow and helps spread traffic out more efficiently.

In the winter that 'no parking' on Yampa would be impractical. No one would want to walk a couple blocks to the restaurants.

Fourth & Yampa, formerly a residential neighborhood before it was "improved" by developers would now make a readily accessible park/parking lot. Go for it realtors! Put your money where your mouth is!
