Backdoor Sports owners Pete and Gretchen Van De Carr visit with Jake Swanton, Colorado policy director for the Obama campaign, on Thursday at the store. Swanton and other campaign officials were in Steamboat Springs to meet with area business owners. After visiting with the Van De Carrs, campaign officials met with business owners and employees at Moots Cycles and SmartWool.
