Craig Fire/Rescue, Moffat County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau of Land Management firefighters respond Friday to the Knez Fire 10 miles south of Craig. A lightning strike is the suspected cause of the blaze that burned two acres of private property. No structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported. Mop-up operations continued into late Friday night.
