Steamboat Ski Area pass pricing deadline Monday
Steamboat Springs — The second pricing deadline for Steamboat Ski Area passes for the 2013-14 ski season is Monday.
Season passes for adults 18 to 69 are $1,089, teens 13 to 17 are $649, seniors 70 and older are $499 and children ages 6 to 12 are $359 if purchased by the deadline.
After Monday, adult season passes will be $1,309, a $220 increase. Passes for teens will increase $90 to a total of $739, children’s passes will increase $160 to $519 and seniors’ passes will bump up $150 to $649.
Parents or legal guardians who purchase an adult season pass will receive one free season pass that can be used by a child younger than 13.
All season pass holders can purchase a $75 Winter Park Resort upgrade, which includes unrestricted skiing and riding at Winter Park. Season pass holders also can purchase a night skiing upgrade for $39 by Sept. 30, $49 from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31 or $79 thereafter. A night skiing only pass is available for $199.
Season pass holders also have the option to buy eight discounted lift tickets for friends and family. Four tickets can be purchased during the early and late seasons (before Dec. 21 and after March 31) for $59 a day, and four lift tickets can be purchased during the heart of the ski season for $79 a day.
Again this season, the ski area will offer six- and 15-day passes.
The six-day pass is $479 through Monday and increases to $499 if purchased from Tuesday through Nov. 27, the final day the six-day pass is available. Additional days can be purchased for the six-day pass for $55 per day.
The 15-day pass price has been set at $939. Additional days can be purchased for the 15-day pass for $45 per day.
