Steamboat Springs 8:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 2600 block of Alpenglow Way. Someone broke the back window out of a neighbor’s van. The parties decided to handle the matter themselves, and no charges were filed.
11:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of property found in the 2600 block of Ski Trail Lane. Some credit cards were found. The owner had a warrant issued and was arrested when the cards were returned.
2:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a found driver's license in the 800 block of Yampa Street. The license was from Wyoming and was not returned.
2:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A suspect was trespassing in a home. The incident is under investigation.
7:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of Pine Street. A woman threw a baseball into her neighbor’s window in an attempt to get her attention. The ball left a hole in the glass but did not break through, and the woman picked it up. The neighbor heard the crash, saw the hole and thought someone had shot a bullet into the home. The woman later called police and admitted she threw the ball. The neighbor did not want to press charges.
8:33 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint on the 600 block of Tamarack Drive. There was a party, and officers issued a warning to keep the noise down.
11:58 p.m. Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. It was an argument, and a man was arrested.
