Steamboat Springs — Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters tended to a 53-year-old Texas woman after she was hit by a car at about 11 a.m. Saturday at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
The woman was walking north with her husband across Lincoln in the crosswalk when a car turning left onto Lincoln hit her.
She suffered minor injuries to her head and was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
The driver was cited for failure to yield in a crosswalk.
