3:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear trying to get into a trash can in the 300 block of Third Street. It was chased away.

8:08 a.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 300 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

8:11 a.m. Hayden officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 200 block of Harvest Drive.

10:45 a.m. Hayden officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

12:37 p.m. A person came to the Steamboat police station and reported receiving phone calls about credit cards that were possibly fraudulent.

1:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found on a bus. It was returned to its owner.

5:13 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 112 on U.S. Highway 40.

9:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of fireworks in the 38800 block of Mud Alley in Milner.

11:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a trash can at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The bear was not being aggressive.
