1:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a personal items missing from a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The items later were found.
7 a.m. A person visiting Steamboat from Denver reported to Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies that their car had been broken into, and a suitcase and wallet were taken. It was not noticed until they returned to Denver.
8:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of several areas of graffiti at Howelsen Hill.
9:19 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a tractor trailer parked for several days on Saturn Court in Clark.
10:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in Steamboat.
1:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a passport found in donated clothes at a thrift store in the 2100 block of Curve Court. It was returned to its owner.
3:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a purse found in the 500 block of North Park Road. It was returned to its owner.
3:44 p.m. Firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 30200 block of Blue Grouse Lane near Steamboat.
4:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of medication taken from a car in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.
5:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was bitten by a dog while at work.
7:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was bitten by a border collie in the 700 block of Yampa Street.
7:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a couple of bikes and skis worth less than $1,000 taken from a car on Oak Street.
8:35 p.m. Firefighters were called to a report of a tree that was struck by lightning on Downhill Drive. The tree did not get struck by lightning. Apparently, a light from the Steamboat Springs Airport was shining on the tree and made it appear like it was on fire.
