Steamboat Springs — North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters and Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a chimney fire in North Routt County on Tuesday evening.
The fire was at a house near Round Mountain Ranch, between mile marker 15 and 16 on Routt County Road 129.
Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Mellisa Baumgartner said there were four people in the home when the fire broke out and they all got out of the home safely. She said the fire damaged the chimney but not the rest of the house.
