Lisa Balstad recently was awarded the Graduate Realtor Institute designation, according to a news release.

Balstad, who sells real estate for Re/Max, About You LLC, has been selling real estate now for nearly three years. She explained that the courses taken to earn this designation are beneficial because they give more specific information regarding a variety of topics regarding real estate transactions.

The GRI designation sets the individuals who have attained it apart from other practitioners.

The GRI designation indicates to the public that the individual has obtained a professional educational foundation on which to base the services they provide to the public and has membership in the National Association of Realtors.
