Vectra Bank names new market president
Vectra Bank Colorado has promoted Dave Bruni, previously senior vice president in charge of the bank's statewide commercial real estate effort, to be the company's market president in Steamboat Springs. Bruni will oversee the area's two branches, with an emphasis on expanding the bank's real estate and consumer lending business.
Before joining Vectra Bank, Bruni was president of corporate banking for First National Bank of Colorado's Northern Region, where much of his work focused on construction and development financing. Previously, Bruni was commercial banking manager for Northern Colorado for U.S. Bank and president of that organization's bank in Boulder, where he was involved in a number of civic organizations. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and earned an MBA at Harvard Business School.
Zirkel Wireless looks south for Internet
Zirkel Wireless has begun delivering its high-speed Internet access in Oak Creek, Phippsburg and Yampa. Stagecoach is next, company President Alan Belvo said.
Zirkel Wireless officials announced this month the company had completed installation of three new antenna sites, increasing its number of sites from five to eight. One of the new sites is on Greenridge Mountain east of Phippsburg. The second is on Oak Creek's historic water tower. Any resident or business that has line-of-site to either tower will be able to receive high-speed Internet access, Belvo said.
