On Nov. 2, 1971, Betty married C.W. (Buster) More in Craig. They ranched in the Twenty-Mile area west of Steamboat until 1978 when they retired and moved to Grand Junction. Betty was a member of the Clifton Christian Church. In 2000, they moved to Rifle.

Betty is survived by daughters, Jean (Jim) Snyder of Silt, Luanna (Wayne) Iacovetto of Steamboat, Teresa (Wayne) Pollard of Silt and Nancy McAnally of Silt; sons, Harry Thompson of Steamboat Springs and Todd (Donne) Thompson of Steamboat; sisters, Dorothy Newsom of California and Ruth Seick of Craig; brother, Robert Wright of Grand Junction; four stepchildren; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; infant daughter, Patricia; brothers, Richard and Howard Wright Jr.; sister Grace Lemmon and son-in-law Gene McAnally.
