Paul Krugman just can't seem to get over the Democratic loss in 2000. What value does he add at this time?
The Florida situation was surely a mess by any measure, but the arguments need not go on forever. Why did he not explain that the Florida law requires validation of votes to be hand counted, ensuring that the voters intentions are clear? That now famous image of three vote counters standing over a ballot with a magnifying glass speaks to anything but clear intentions. And why did he not talk about the election that John Kennedy stole. It's a well-documented story: It is only OK for Democrats to steal.
