¤ Paintings of historic Routt County buildings by former area resident Marty Alexandroff are on rotating exhibit through the summer, now at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson in Hayden. The paintings are part of a summer-long silent auction to raise money for Historic Routt County. Bids for the paintings can be made online through September at www.silent.donateauction.com/hrc or by contacting Historic Routt County. Call 875-1305.

¤ The M.O.R.E. Art Site Project is exhibiting work of local and national artists in the halls of Yampa Valley Medical Center, Ambiente and Chieftain Plaza through October.

¤ Cartoons by Aimee Kimmey and photography by Paula Jo Steele and Judy Jones are on display at Mona's Art to Go, 2851 Riverside Plaza, No. 14. Call 870-3400.

¤ Southwestern-style handmade jewelry, made of turquoise, corral and sterling silver, is on display at Bear Valley Trading Post and Boot Repair, 116 1/2 Eighth St. in the alley behind The Shack. Call 879-3573.

¤ SummerArt 2005 is on display at the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St. The exhibit will be on display through today. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 879-9008.

¤ "Recent Works by David Winters, woodworker, and Karen G. Schulman, photographer" is on display in the Small Works Gallery at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to from 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 879-9008.


¤ Work by more than 50 local and national artists is on display at the Wild Horse Gallery. The gallery is located in the Sheraton Steamboat Resort, open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Call 879-7660.

¤ "Crafting the Earth: Masterpieces from the Richard Pleasant Collection of Native American Art" is on display at Tread of Pioneers Museum, 800 Oak St. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Call 879-2214.
