We send get better wishes to Blue Halterman of Oak Creek, who is in the hospital in Denver; to Bill Redmond who is in the hospital in Fort Collins; and to Ralph Nichol who is at the Doak Walker Care Center at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. Get well soon to all.
Jeannette Iacovetto is in Denver for six weeks of treatments. We wish her all the best and want her home soon.
LIFT-UP in its new location in the Oak Creek mini-storage is open 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. The organization also will take donations at this time.
The What's New Rummage shop in Phippsburg is open each Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At this time, they will take donations of good, clean items.
As fall and winter are coming, stop by your local library in Toponas, Yampa and Oak Creek and check out all of the items on hand for your enjoyment.
The Oak Creek and Phippsburg Historical Society can use your old time items and pictures. Please put names and dates on them if possible. The ladies are really doing a good job, so many thanks to them.

On the road
Charley and Clair Taylor made a vacation trip to California to visit with Clair's uncle and Charley's sister.
Jerry Miller is away on business, and Gisell will be going for a visit with family in Arizona.
The South Routt Seniors went shopping Tuesday.
Mark Williams and Lila Rider went to Steamboat on Thursday.
The Rush Bagwells are returning to their winter home in Austin.
The Doug Halls are back from vacation.
Hunting and fishing
We have seen lots of fall fishing out at Stagecoach Reservoir and have seen some real nice fish caught.
The hunters in the area are having pretty good luck getting their elk and some bear. Nice going.
Nice to hear that Gary Solman is recovering and doing much better after his recent accident.
