Steamboat Springs Victims of multiple sclerosis may receive more relief after Sunday.
Event organizers of Snow Express for MS have confidence that 45 teams and more than $65,000 will be raised to support patient scholarships for The Jimmy Heuga Center.
The Heuga Center is a nonprofit research organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with multiple sclerosis through medical wellness programs and research. More than 3,000 people have benefited from The Heuga Center's intense individualized training sessions.
"After the Poker Run on Saturday, we should have about 20 teams, maybe a little more," said Stacey Kramer, event coordinator.
