Couples announcements for September 2011




Dick and Donna McClellan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 3, 1961, in Raymondville, Mo., Donna’s hometown. Shortly thereafter, they left for Stuttgart, Germany, where Dick, a graduate of Hayden High School, was stationed in the Army. In 1963, they returned to Missouri and then made a final move to Colorado in 1965, where they raised three daughters. Dick worked as an electrician until 1974, at which time he became employed with the Poudre Fire Authority. He retired in 2000, after 25 years of working for the fire department. Dick currently works for the Water Storage and Supply Co. During these years, Donna was a homemaker and has helped to keep things operating at their home in LaPorte as they also raise horses and cattle and run a small hay-hauling business. Over the years, their church has played an important role in their lives. In addition, they have been active in 4-H and youth wrestling programs. Dick and Donna have developed many friendships throughout these years. Dick still enjoys hunting and fishing, while Donna takes pleasure in ceramics, gardening and cooking. Celebrating with them are their three daughters and their husbands: Sandee and Andy Legino, Sara and Kevin Anderson, and Saneta and Brion Gavette. Also celebrating, are their ten grandchildren: Geoff, Brittany, Chris, Lindsey, Greg, Zach, Tyler, Hayden, Toby and Evie.


Berdine and DeRisio

Jacqueline Berdine, of Steamboat Springs, and Joseph Antonio DeRisio, of Wheat Ridge, were married May 28, 2011. The wedding was held at Euzoa Bible Church in Steamboat Springs, and a reception at Three Peaks Grill followed. Jacquie is the daughter of Michael and Jennifer Berdine, and Tony is the son of John DeRisio and Holly and Robert Denning. Bridesmaids were Leah Berdine, Tonya Major and Madison Major. Groomsmen were Jack Major, Troy Kuhl and Phillip Kellenbeck. The ring bearer was Jackson Major. Jacquie is employed as a registered nurse at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Tony is employed by Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue as a firefighter and EMT. Tony and Jacquie honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
