Couples announcements for October 2010



Dressen and Findell

Susan Dressen and Lee Findell, both of Steamboat Springs, were married Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Alpine Mountain Ranch and Club in Steamboat. The couple was surrounded by friends and family. They were attended by Lee’s children Elizabeth, Brady and Will. After a trip to Italy, the couple will continue to reside in Steamboat.


Rogan and Smith

Sharon Davis Rogan and David Madison Smith Jr., both of Steamboat Springs, were married Oct. 8, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Steamboat Springs. A celebration party was held at The Steamboat Grand. Sharon is the daughter of Martha Davis, and David is the son of David and Charis Smith. After a honeymoon trip to Sante Fe, N.M., the couple will reside in Steamboat.



Celebrating 60 years of marital bliss, Wayne and Becky Ehle were married Oct. 7, 1950, in Los Angles in a double wedding with Becky’s sister and husband. Both couples celebrated the double wedding, double diamond anniversary with family in Nevada.


Savage and Schnackenberg

Melissa Savage, of Vilonia, Ark., and Scott Schnackenberg, of Steamboat Springs, were married Oct. 10, 2010, at Fish Creek Falls in Steamboat. Melissa is the daughter of Horace and Regina Savage, and Scott is the son of Ron and Kim Schnackenberg. The couple resides in Steamboat Springs and will honeymoon on the California coast.


Fox and Behling

Sarah Fox, of Steamboat Springs, and Jeremy Behling, of Pueblo, were married Sept. 18, 2010, at the top of the gondola in Steamboat Springs. Sarah is the daughter of Tom and Karen Fox, and Jeremy is the son of Ed and Diana Behling. Bridesmaids were Amy and Jessica Fox, Amber Giardullo and Kia Cartwright-Nolting. Groomsmen were Josh Behling, Oliver Phillips, John Thomason and Matt Carleo. The couple resides in Steamboat where Sarah will continue to work as vice president of Fox Construction. Jeremy will continue to work as vice president of Alpine Bank. The couple will honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.


Steinmueller and Kalow

Yvonne Steinmueller and Capt. Jason Kalow, United States Army, were married Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at the Chapel of Niagara Falls. Yvonne is the daughter of Rainer and Ingrid Steinmueller, of Schweinfurt, Germany. Yvonne works in Colorado Springs as a registered nurse. Jason is the son of Gary and Georgian Kalow, of Steamboat Springs. Jason is stationed at Fort Huachuca in Arizona. The couple will relocate to Jason’s new assignment in January 2011.


Simmins and Scherer

Emma Simmins, of Steamboat Springs, and Eric Scherer, of Minnetonka, Minn., were married Sept. 25, 2010, in Library Hall at Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs. Emma is the daughter of Tom and Mary Simmins, and Eric is the son of Scott Scherer and Elizabeth Schaden. Bridesmaids were Natalie Simmins, Meghan McNamara and Courtney Johnson. Groomsmen were Kellen Davis, Eric Klosterman and Derek Jaeger. The reception was at Ore House at Pine Grove. The couple honeymooned at The Broad­moor in Colorado Springs and resides in Steamboat.


Draper and Fosdick

Bailey Kathryn Draper, of Steamboat Springs, and Tyler Michael Fosdick, of Steamboat, were married Aug. 14, 2010, near the gazebo on Spring Creek Trail. The reception was held at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. Bailey is the daughter of Paul and Vicki Draper, of Steamboat, and Ann Yuhas, of Marietta, N.Y. Tyler is the son of Michael and Martha Fosdick, of Steamboat. Bridesmaids were Rachel Hickman, Christie Draper, Amanda Anzalone and Jennifer Weber. Groomsmen were Ryan Quirk, Kelly Anzalone, Ryan Pierskalla and Kevin Dombey. Cousin of the bride Elek Yuhas was the ring bearer. Bailey and Tyler are in graduate school at the University of Washington in Seattle. Bailey is in a doctoral program in statistics, and Tyler is in a doctor of physical therapy program. The couple will honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
